The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cronos gets a double leg takedown into Hill's guard.
Cronos working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hill's head.
Cronos wants to pass the guard but Hill is keeping the position.
Cronos stands up over Hill, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Cronos wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving.
Hill thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Cronos postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Cronos postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cronos loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Cronos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cronos lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cronos loads up on a big left hand. Hill felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Cronos looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Hill can't hide his disappointment, as Cronos celebrates the victory.
