Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael The Count (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Count throws a right and a left that Tyler avoids nicely.
Tyler on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Tyler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tyler tries for a takedown but The Count sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tyler misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Tyler gets caught flat footed, as The Count shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The Count seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tyler for as long as he can get away with.

The Count changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyler tries to avoid it but The Count manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyler to the ground. Tyler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The Count has his foot on Tyler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tyler works his way back into a safe position though.

The Count has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tyler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Count can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tyler had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. The Count is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tyler Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take The Count's back instead.

Tyler is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! The Count has his hands clasped together but Tyler extends an breaks The Count's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tyler.
