Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Art Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Unknown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Unknown will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Good leg kick by Unknown there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Black darts in and clinches Unknown up against the cage.

Black is pressed up against the cage. Unknown has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Black down to the mat. Black avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Unknown feints and then cracks Black's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Black down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Unknown buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Unknown has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Unknown working for a triangle but Black defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Unknown bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard.
Unknown lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Black is breathing heavily.

Unknown postures up and lands a big shot to Black's brow.
Black is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Unknown is controlling him.
Unknown has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Unknown is pushing down on Black's leg trying to pass to half guard. Black is fighting to maintain full guard but Unknown has managed to sneak the leg through.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Unknown lands a nice short elbow.
Unknown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Black keeps working.
Black might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Black wants to get back to his feet.
Unknown takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Unknown thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Black's head.

Unknown stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Unknown slips a jab from Black.
Look low, kick high! Unknown uses the oldest trick in the book to send Black tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Unknown is absolutely delighted - when Black wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
