Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex. Harrison comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Warrior Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a jab to Harrison's midsection.
A looping hook to the body misses from Silva. Harrison does a little dance to reset his feet.
Despite the aggression on Harrison's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Silva scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Silva scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Harrison takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Silva is looking to wear down Harrison with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Silva jabs Harrison right on the nose. Harrison blinks but takes it well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Silva.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing reports that Silva has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Harrison gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Chuck Harrison has been cut.
Silva works Harrison's body with a nice hook.
Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Harrison is just out of range.

Silva gets a double leg takedown into Harrison's guard.
Silva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Harrison wants to improve his position here. There's a bit of a scramble and Silva has taken Harrison's back! He's locked on a rear naked choke here and Harrison has been forced to tap!

After the fight, Alexio Silva was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
