The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escargesa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Escargesa's jab looks to have found its range, popping Chambers under the eye.
Chambers slips under a jab from Escargesa.
It seemed like Chambers was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Escargesa cracks Chambers with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Chambers looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Escargesa finish him?

Chambers avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Escargesa drops Chambers with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Chambers looks back up at him and smiles so Escargesa waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

and Escargesa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chambers seems to have recovered his senses.

Chambers flicks out a counter leg kick but Escargesa steps away.
Chambers moves away from the strike by Escargesa.
Chambers throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Oooooh!!! Escargesa has knocked Chambers down with a huge combo! Escargesa steps away and waves a wobbly Chambers back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

We've been informed that Chambers has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Chambers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Escargesa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Chambers throws a nice looking combination but Escargesa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chambers connects with a leg kick. Escargesa looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Chambers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Escargesa loads up on a big right hand but Chambers slips the punch.

Escargesa cracks Chambers with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Escargesa has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Chambers to stand back up!
Escargesa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chambers.

Escargesa lands a big uppercut and Chambers crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Chambers looks OK. Escargesa waves Chambers back to his feet!

Chambers appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Escargesa drops Chambers with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Chambers! Escargesa dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
