Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Stephens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Not Sure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shaun Stephens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Not Sure!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sure shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sure showed some decent athleticism there.
Stephens manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Stephens pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sure throws a leg kick that is checked
and Stephens counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Stephens looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Stephens is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sure doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stephens.
Stephens looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sure looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sure wants to control but Stephens is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Stephens controlling the action here.
Sure desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Sure looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sure looking for submissions off his back.
Sure is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stephens pulls his head out easily.
Stephens is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Stephens is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sure managing to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Good work by Stephens as he checks the leg kick.
Stephens half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sure tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stephens is looking for a counter combo.
Stephens gets caught flat footed, as Sure shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Stephens has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sure has passed into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Stephens takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Stephens manages to get back to half guard.
Ground and pound from Sure.
Still in half guard, Sure seems content to control.
Sure thows a huge punch but Stephens dodges it nicely.
Sure is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sure can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stephens is looking to escape.
Stephens is looking to get to half guard.
We've been informed that Sure has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Stephens regains half guard.
Stephens is trying to maintain the position but Sure is very close to passing his half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sure winds up and cracks Stephens with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Sure is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stephens is just riding it out for now. Sure eventually gives up the hold.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Not Sure will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Stephens feints and as Sure raises his hands in defense, Stephens changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stephens has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Sure to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Stephens is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Sure pulls down on the head and he's put Stephens to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Not Sure!
