Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ceasar Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan has chosen Fat Lip as his entrance music. Bruce Armstrong has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ceasar Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong cracks Morgan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Armstrong tries to score with a low kick but Morgan moves his leg out of the way.
And Morgan tries to counter it with a takedown but Armstrong pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Morgan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Armstrong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Morgan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Armstrong did well to prevent Morgan getting side control.
Armstrong has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Morgan is working away from the top position though.

Morgan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morgan is keen to just control but Armstrong is a slippery customer.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Morgan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Armstrong moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Armstrong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morgan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Armstrong is tightening it up a little... Morgan has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Morgan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Morgan taps out! Nice BJJ there by Armstrong!
