Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stretch Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Dayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong comes into the arena with Coal Chamber--Big Truck blaring out of the sound system. Dayne has chosen South of Heaven as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dayne but Dayne pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dayne tries to clinch but Armstrong moves out of range.
Armstrong swats away the attempt to clinch by Dayne.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dayne drops Armstrong with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Armstrong looks back up at him and smiles so Dayne waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Armstrong is rocked!

Dayne rushes Armstrong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dayne creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Dayne lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Armstrong backwards.

Dayne lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dayne takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Dayne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Armstrong keeps the fight on the outside.

Dayne thows a left - swing and a miss!
Armstrong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dayne cracks Armstrong with a big right hand and Armstrong goes down!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dayne is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dayne scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Dayne not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Dayne has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Armstrong has his foot on Dayne's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dayne works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Armstrong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dayne doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dayne manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dayne is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dayne connects with a nice cross there... Armstrong is looking wobbly and Dayne recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Armstrong to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Dayne jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
