Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryland Eviserence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Veltri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eviserence closes the distance and pushes Veltri back into the cage.
Eviserence wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Eviserence really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Veltri drops back looking for a leg! Eviserence is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Eviserence manages to kick Veltri off! Veltri jumps back into Eviserence's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Veltri closes the distance and clinches up with Eviserence, looking for a takedown. Veltri pushes Eviserence against the cage but Eviserence circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Eviserence manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Veltri keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Eviserence has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Veltri clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Eviserence lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Eviserence.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Eviserence misses with an attempted mid kick.
Eviserence tries to score a power double leg takedown but Veltri sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Eviserence somewhat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Eviserence has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Veltri uses from the top position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Veltri feints a jab promting Eviserence to slip. Veltri then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Eviserence slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Veltri takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Eviserence fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Veltri fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Eviserence sprawls well initially but Veltri persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
