The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Button shoots in but Swayze avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've been informed that Swayze has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Button shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Swayze pinned against the cage. Swayze gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Button changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Swayze tries to avoid it but Button manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Swayze to the ground. Swayze escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Button. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Swayze throws a hook but Button blocks it.
Button shoots in for a double leg but Swayze sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Button looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Swayze throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Swayze might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Swayze defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Button.
Oh Button is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Swayze ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Button's jaw. Button's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Swayze does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Julian Swayze decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
