The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gullit throws a jab but it's blocked by Kucera.
Gullit cracks Kucera with an open hand slap.
Kucera throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kucera walks into a left hand.
Kucera takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Honza Kucera has been cut.

Ruud Gullit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kucera is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gullit doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kucera.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gullit is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kucera is aware though and is defending well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looked like Gullit wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Kucera shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gullit but Gullit pushes him off and we're back to square one.
