PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Doom Unit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mustafa Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Unit comes into the arena with Doom Unit - Killing Time blaring out of the sound system. Khan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Immortal Technique- The Cause of Death kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Doom Unit has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Doom Unit seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan cracks Unit with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Khan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Khan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Khan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Mustafa Khan seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Unit throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Doom Unit.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Unit, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Doom Unit decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
