Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Takashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Tyler could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Juan Takashi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Tyler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juan Takashi!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyler drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tyler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Takashi's waist but Takashi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tyler off to one side.

Juan Takashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Tyler or perhaps it was just good defense by Takashi which made him look bad.

That was a close round but I would say that Jake Tyler will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

I think Tyler has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
