The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leeroy moves in looking to clinch but Chang pushes him off.
Leeroy wants to land a leg kick but Chang is out of range.
Chang pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Chang feints and as Leeroy raises his hands in defense, Chang changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Chang wants to pass the guard but Leeroy is keeping the position.
Chang must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Leeroy is working an open guard so Chang takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Chang shoots in and gets a takedown into Leeroy's guard.

Leeroy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Chang gets to his feet - Leeroy follows without any prompting.

Chang is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Leeroy can't fight it off and eventually Chang manages to take the fight to the floor. Leeroy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Leeroy is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Chang presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
