The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heggie misses with a leg kick
and Cain counters with a nice uppercut.
Heggie thows a leg kick but Cain checks it
and Cain counters with a good low kick that Heggie was not able to check.
Cain throws a nice inside leg kick.
Cain uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Heggie.
Cain ducks under a wild hook from Heggie.
Cain looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Heggie tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cain is able to avoid easily.
Cain scores with a nice body kick.
Heggie misses with an uppercut. Cain saw that one coming.
Cain feinted there with a counter leg kick.

Heggie slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've been informed that Heggie has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

and Cain counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Cain avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cain throws a body punch but Heggie moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Heggie on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Heggie lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cain circles away quickly and effectively.

Heggie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cain sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It looked like Cain wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Cain lands a nice leg kick that just misses Heggie's sensitive parts.
Cain swings for the body but Heggie moves out of range.

and Cain counters with a body kick that stops Heggie in his tracks momentarily.

Cain circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Heggie drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Cain follows Heggie to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
