Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Julien King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herteruiop Jertuaser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herteruiop Jertuaser has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Watson and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King forces Jertuaser back against the cage and clinches.

King successfully pulls guard.
King has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Jertuaser has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of King is proving hard to escape from.
King pulls Jertuaser in close to his closed guard and prevents Jertuaser from doing any damage or advancing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jertuaser tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard.

King throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jertuaser escapes and throws King's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jertuaser fails with a takedown attempt.

King scores with a takedown into Jertuaser's guard.
King seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

King is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Jertuaser tries to land a sweep but no joy.
King stays in close to Jertuaser's body and controls the position.
Jertuaser controls King momentarily but King frees himself.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jertuaser can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as King controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A momentary lapse in concentration from King enables Jertuaser to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. King manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
King wants to stand and escape but Jertuaser is having none of it.

King pulls Jertuaser in close to his closed guard and prevents Jertuaser from doing any damage or advancing position.
King looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jertuaser is one step ahead there.
Jertuaser wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.

King is looking for a triangle here but Jertuaser uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
King wants to control but Jertuaser postures up.
Jertuaser should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Jertuaser tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
King tries to bench press Jertuaser off him but Jertuaser keeps the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
What's King going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Jertuaser wants to control but King is keeping him busy.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
King is trying to control Jertuaser's posture but Jertuaser avoids it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jertuaser dives in for a single leg takedown but King sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jertuaser or perhaps it was just good defense by King, which made it look bad.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! King's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

King forces Jertuaser back against the cage and clinches.

King has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jertuaser clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
I really don't envy Jertuaser right now.
Jertuaser is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by King.

King is cranking Jertuaser's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Jertuaser! He's tightened the choke and Jertuaser is tapping out!
