The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matroskin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Parker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Parker is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Matroskin is trying to trip Parker. He has hold of a leg but Parker is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Matroskin persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
My spies in The Highland Gym inform me that Matroskin has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Matroskin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

As Matroskin tries to get set, Parker tries to push him back and clinch up but Matroskin manages to avoid the attempt.
Parker takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Parker throws a head kick that misses.
Parker sets himself, and Matroskin steps forward looking for the clinch! Parker avoids it this time.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Matroskin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Parker has a couple of punches blocked by Matroskin.

Matroskin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Matroskin manages to end up in side control.
