Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simo Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conway has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Simo Chan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jimmy Conway's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan tries to work over Conway's front leg with a kick but Conway checks it.
Conway is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Chan shoots for a takedown but Conway saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Chan throws a sloppy head kick and Conway moves out of range easily.
Chan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Chan breaks from the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Conway as Chan shoots in.
It looked like Conway wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jimmy Conway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simo Chan.

and Conway counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Chan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Conway to keep the fight standing.

Chan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Conway sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chan somewhat.

Conway changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chan tries to avoid it but Conway manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chan to the ground. Chan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Conway tries to keep at a distance but Chan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Conway blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Chan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Conway's efforts to push away.

Chan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Conway's guard.

Chan decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Oooooh!!! Chan has knocked Conway down with a huge combo! Chan steps away and waves a wobbly Conway back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Chan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Conway tries to avoid it but Chan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Conway to the ground. Conway escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Oh Conway is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jimmy Conway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simo Chan.
Conway walks straight into a right hand from Chan - that's dropped him! Chan jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Conway from any more punishment! Conway complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Simo Chan!
