Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Achilleo Katsidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ulrik Vinni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katsidis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vinni has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Vinni closes this distance looking for a takedown but Katsidis circles away.
Katsidis wants to land a leg kick but Vinni is out of range.
Katsidis scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Vinni tries to close the distance and clinch up but Katsidis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Katsidis is pressed up against the cage. Vinni has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Katsidis down to the mat. Katsidis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Nice straight punches there by Katsidis. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Katsidis.

Look low, kick high! Katsidis uses the oldest trick in the book to send Vinni tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Katsidis is absolutely delighted - when Vinni wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
