Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Corinthos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredric Brannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Corinthos scores with a takedown into Brannon's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Brannon is pulling down on Corinthos's head. It's preventing any offense from Corinthos, at least for the moment.

Brannon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Brannon tries to close the distance and clinch but Corinthos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Brannon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Corinthos.
Brannon might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
