The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velassco gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Velassco bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Carolla walks into a stiff left hand from Velassco.
Carolla looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Carolla misses with an uppercut. Velassco saw that one coming.
Velassco appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Carolla chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Velassco can pounce on him.

Carolla is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Carolla throws a hook to the side of Velassco's head but Velassco sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Velassco cracks Carolla with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Carolla looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Velassco finish him?

A swing and a miss from Carolla.
Carolla throws a series of punches but Velassco moves out of range.
Velassco throws a leg kick which misses Carolla's front leg but catches the back leg as Carolla tries to avoid it.

Velassco lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Carolla falls backwards - clearly groggy! Velassco dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
