Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Rhon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Voros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Rhon had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voros blocks a head kick by Rhon.
Rhon fails to land with a series of punches.

It looks like Ty Voros has been cut.
Rhon throws a head kick but Voros moves out of range.
Rhon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rhon lands with a cross.
Rhon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rhon takes a swing at Voros's ribcage but misses.
Voros lands with a nice combination. Rhon backs away looking to recover.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Voros feints and then cracks Rhon's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rhon down.

Voros will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rhon up against the cage.

Voros tightens his grip and picks Rhon up, before dumping him to the ground. Rhon manages to land in guard.

Voros stands and steps away. Rhon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Rhon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Voros just stands there and leans against the cage.

Voros has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rhon regains guard immediately.

Rhon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Voros is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Voros keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rhon's head.

Rhon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Voros gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rhon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Voros's guard.

Voros has his foot on Rhon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rhon works his way back into a safe position though.

Voros working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rhon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rhon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rhon fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
