Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helmeri Haapasaari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Helmeri Haapasaari will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haapasaari thows a left - swing and a miss!
Johnston quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Johnston gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Haapasaari to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Haapasaari would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Johnston closes the distance and clinches up with Haapasaari, looking for a takedown. Johnston pushes Haapasaari against the cage but Haapasaari circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A little jabbing left from Haapasaari on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Haapasaari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Helmeri Haapasaari dominated that round.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Haapasaari. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Haapasaari shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Haapasaari was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well Haapasaari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
