Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Sunderland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sunderland's choice of entrance music: Placebo - Running up that hill. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sunderland looks to land a combination but Polo avoids it well.
Polo throws a leg kick but Sunderland sees it coming and moves out of range.
Sunderland throws a head kick but Polo moves out of range.
Polo looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Polo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Polo throws a sloppy head kick and Sunderland moves out of range easily.
Sunderland is looking for the big counter here.
Polo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sunderland closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Polo to the mat! Polo manages to get full guard.
Polo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sunderland can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sunderland lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

and Sunderland counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

That kick from Polo tenderised Sunderland's leg. Sunderland is trying to keep his angry face on.

Polo is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sunderland.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sunderland throws a right hand that Polo ducks under and follows up with a left that Polo also avoids with ease.

Donk. Sunderland catches Polo right on the button with a cross.
Polo is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Sunderland knocks Polo out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
