Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gerard Osborn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JaLen Daniel Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JaLen Daniel Jr told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Osborn moves out of range easily.
Daniel Jr changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Daniel Jr closes the distance and pushes Osborn back into the cage.

Osborn jumps guard and drags Daniel Jr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Daniel Jr is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Osborn is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Osborn has escaped and now he's on top!
Daniel Jr looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Osborn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daniel Jr pulls Osborn in close to his closed guard and prevents Osborn from doing any damage or advancing position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Osborn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Osborn stops Daniel Jr from getting back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Daniel Jr rushes Osborn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Osborn fails to pull guard.

Daniel Jr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Osborn scores with a hook to the body. Daniel Jr takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Daniel Jr shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Osborn's guard.

Daniel Jr slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Daniel Jr advances to half guard.
Daniel Jr is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Daniel Jr works his way into full mount!
Daniel Jr lands a big elbow.

Osborn is rocked!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Osborn takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Daniel Jr's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

JaLen Daniel Jr spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
