Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Salvador Dali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dali misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dali throws a shot from downtown. Zero moves away and avoids it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dali.
Dali drops Zero with a left and a right! Oh, Zero is hurt - Dali dives into side control looking to finish!

Zero is rocked!

It looks like Abel Zero has been cut.

Dali tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dali has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Zero is still in real trouble! Can Dali finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dali advances to full mount.

Dali looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Zero seems to have recovered his senses.

Dali goes for an armbar but Zero turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Zero.
Zero slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dali bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zero's head.
Dali takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Dali on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zero. Zero obviously looking to wear him down.
Salvador Dali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zero throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Dali is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dali crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Zero - the referee stops the clock and Dali gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Zero. Dali manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Zero throws a head kick that half lands.
Zero lands a head kick. Dali smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Zero moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Zero lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Dali misses with a double jab.
Zero scores with a three punch combo!

Zero throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dali's head.

and Zero counters with a flying knee that drops Dali! Zero dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
