Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Island King slips a jab and a cross from Dragon.
Island King drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dragon defends it well.
Dragon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Island King manages to avoid it.
Island King is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
The Dragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Island King walks into a straight right hand from Dragon.
Dragon feints a jab promting Island King to slip. Dragon then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Island King slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Dragon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Island King counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Island King working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Island King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Island King throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dragon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Island King slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Island King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Island King wants to pass the guard but Dragon is keeping the position.

Dragon tries to escape but Island King is in control.
We've been hearing good reports from Dragon's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Island King has hold of Dragon's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dragon seems comfortable defending it but Island King has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dragon is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dragon is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Island King couldn't care less - he's delighted!
