The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knowledge goes for a double leg but Kawalski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kawalski continues to drive forward.
Knowledge tries to clinch but Kawalski moves out of range.
Kawalski is looking to counter the offense by Knowledge and move into the clinch.
Kawalski misses the shot to the body.

Knowledge closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kawalski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brian Knowledge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
