The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hamilton is stalling here.

Hamilton has Mullen pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hamilton pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mullen tumbling to the mat - Hamilton dives into Mullen's guard.
Hamilton controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hamilton makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mullen looking for a guillotine here but Hamilton defends easily.
Hamilton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hamilton would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Mullen wants to get back to his feet but Hamilton is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mullen can't keep his opponent in guard - Hamilton advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mullen is looking to escape.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Hamilton seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hamilton seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Mullen wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hamilton rushes Mullen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hamilton tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mullen avoids it.

Hamilton has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mullen regains guard immediately.
Hamilton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mullen wants to improve his position but instead Hamilton has moved into half guard.
Mullen is trying to stand.

Hamilton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Oh Mullen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Hamilton connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Hamilton postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Mullen badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Hamilton around the waist but Hamilton pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Hamilton is the winner by TKO! Hamilton jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
