The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blyer thuds his right hand into Bob's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nice takedown defense from Bob. No joy for Blyer on that attempt.
Bob throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Blyer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bob tries to close the distance and clinch but Blyer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bob breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bob throws a series of punches but Blyer avoids them all with ease.

Rocky Blyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bob closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Bob shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blyer but Blyer pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Billy Bob just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Bob has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Blyer uses from the top position.

Horrible takedown by Bob or perhaps it was just good defense by Blyer which made him look bad.

Blyer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Blyer shoots for a takedown but Bob saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bob tries to clinch but Blyer moves out of range.

Bob shoots in but Blyer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Blyer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Bob will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Blyer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Blyer misses with an uppercut. Bob saw that one coming.
Bob throws a series of punches but Blyer avoids them all with ease.
Blyer lands a nice shot that snaps Bob's head back.

Blyer throws a right and a left that Bob avoids nicely.

Blyer gets caught flat footed, as Bob shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blyer is pulling down on Bob's head. It's preventing any offense from Bob, at least for the moment.

Bob tries to stand but Blyer is controlling from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Blyer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bob is one step ahead there.
Bob thows a big elbow that misses.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Blyer misses with a few strikes there.

Bob clinches up with Blyer and pushes him back against the cage.
Bob lands an elbow just above Blyer 's eye.

Bob drags the fight down to the ground.
Bob wants to stand up but Blyer is controlling him.
Rocky Blyer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Billy Bob overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bob manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Blyer manages to get himself to full guard.
Blyer keeping moving, preventing Bob from controlling successfully.
Blyer seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Billy Bob is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Bob stands up and waves to Blyer to follow him.
