The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kolehmainen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Joe looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Joe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Joe is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Joe being controlled here, momentarily.
Joe can't keep his opponent in guard - Kolehmainen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Joe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kolehmainen pulls his head out easily.

It looks like Kolehmainen might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
My spies in Craigs inform me that Kolehmainen has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Kolehmainen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Joe is just riding it out for now. Kolehmainen eventually gives up the hold.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kolehmainen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Joe looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joe is looking for a sweep. Kolehmainen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kolehmainen seems to be working for a kimura but Joe defends the submission attempt.
Joe wants to get back to full guard.

Joe is pressing down on Kolehmainen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Joe throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kolehmainen uses it to pass to side control.

Kolehmainen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Joe is trying to escape the position but Kolehmainen is controlling the position.
Joe tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kolehmainen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kolehmainen remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Kolehmainen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Joe, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Joe's face as Kolehmainen controls the position.

Joe gets back to half guard.
Joe regains full guard. Nicely done.

Kolehmainen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Kolehmainen works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Kolehmainen is keen to just control but Joe is a slippery customer.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kolehmainen is working for a guillotine from mount but Joe frees his head quite easily.

Kolehmainen moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Joe has worked his arm free - good work by Joe!

Kolehmainen is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Joe looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kolehmainen gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Joe is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kolehmainen lets go of the hold and Joe can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Eino Kolehmainen!
After winning the bout, Eino Kolehmainen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
