and Man counters by clinching up.
Bird jumps guard but Man turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Bird is fighting off a takedown attempt but Man is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bird to the mat. Bird regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Man is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bird defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
