The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves looks for a takedown but Wursty sprawls well.
Wursty defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Alves .
Alves throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wursty sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Alves throws a right and a left that both miss.

Wursty takes the fight into the clinch.

and Wursty counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Alves thinking.

Alves lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wursty backwards.

Wursty fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Alves pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Alves throws a head kick that misses.
Alves ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wursty moves away.
Wursty moves out of range of the strikes.
Wursty tries to clinch there but Alves circles away.
Wursty moves in looking to clinch but Alves pushes him off.
Wursty on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Wursty uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Alves .
Alves looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Alves drops Wursty with a left right combo! Alves follows him down to the ground into side control.

Alves scores with a big shot! Wursty's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Wursty! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
