The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa tries to close the distance and clinch but Kimmons swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like Stanley Kimmons has been cut.

and Kimmons decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sosa's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sosa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Kimmons throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sosa was covering up waiting for the punch and Kimmons finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kimmons drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kimmons jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kimmons goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sosa rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kimmons's guard! Nice work there by Sosa!
