The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson Jr lands a big uppercut and Motion crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Motion looks OK. Johnson Jr waves Motion back to his feet!

It looks like Slow Motion has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson Jr is defended easily by Motion.
Motion dodges the punch combination from Johnson Jr.
Johnson Jr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Motion paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Motion fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Johnson Jr misses with a double jab

and Motion counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Johnson Jr!

Johnson Jr is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Motion working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Johnson Jr tries to bench press Motion off him but Motion keeps the position.
Johnson Jr is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Motion is controlling him well.
Motion wants to control but Johnson Jr is keeping him busy.
Motion has knee on belly momentarily but Johnson Jr bucks him off and regains half guard.
Johnson Jr looks like he's trying to stand up.

Motion trying to control but Johnson Jr is working from the bottom.
Johnson Jr is looking to stand up but Motion isn't so interested in that idea.
Johnson Jr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Johnson Jr is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Motion wants to control but Johnson Jr is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Motion gets full guard.

A very excited looking Michael Johnson Jr rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
