Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between cj charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thaigo Leites (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). charles comes to the cage accompanied by cant be stopped. Leites has chosen Sunday Bloody Sunday - U2 as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leites is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. charles knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Leites thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Leites remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. charles has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Leites is really squeezing tight and eventually charles passes out! Leites breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
