The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adolphus walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. TupperIII checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
TupperIII shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adolphus pinned against the cage. Adolphus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Good work by TupperIII as he checks the leg kick.
TupperIII pulls out of a head kick attempt.
TupperIII uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adolphus.

TupperIII feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

TupperIII is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adolphus keeping full guard, as TupperIII tries to pass.
TupperIII stands and throws Adolphus's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adolphus is looking to work his way out of this bad position but TupperIII is controlling him well.

TupperIII working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

TupperIII is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Adolphus knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Adolphus is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

TupperIII looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

TupperIII is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Adolphus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

TupperIII tries for a kimura but Adolphus is defending well.

TupperIII wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Adolphus, who protects the arm well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Adolphus is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but TupperIII has just dragged him back down to the mat.

TupperIII swings around for an armbar but Adolphus sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into TupperIII's guard.
Adolphus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for TupperIII on the ground.

TupperIII is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Adolphus defends well.
TupperIII has a closed guard, preventing Adolphus from standing up.

Adolphus got a little sloppy there for a moment and TupperIII has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Adolphus has managed to get both his arms back between TupperIII's legs - danger averted.

TupperIII is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Adolphus frees his head nicely. Oh but TupperIII has switched to an armbar! Adolphus is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
