The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jesus is stalling here. Sonnen is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Jesus seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Sonnen has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Jesus takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Jesus is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sonnen's half guard.
Sonnen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sonnen keeping moving, preventing Jesus from controlling successfully.
Jesus is fighting to break Sonnen's control of his arms but Sonnen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Jesus drops back looking for a leg! Sonnen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sonnen manages to kick Jesus off! Jesus jumps back into Sonnen's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jesus sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Sonnen doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Jesus paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Sonnen - great work!
