Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlinhos Valente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Petrenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valente comes to the cage accompanied by "We Dem Boyz" by Wiz Khalifa. Petrenko is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bro Hymm/ Pennywise. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrenko avoids a kick to the body.
Petrenko swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Petrenko fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Petrenko has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Petrenko lands with a slapping head kick.

Valente stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Petrenko.
Petrenko throws a series of punches but Valente avoids them all with ease.
Valente is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Petrenko.

Valente gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Petrenko tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Valente has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Petrenko.

A little feinted left hand from Valente on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Petrenko misses with a wild combination.
Valente throws a low kick, looking for Petrenko's leg but Petrenko calmly moves out of range.
Valente throws an overhand right that lands on Petrenko's shoulder, as Petrenko tries to avoid the shot.
Petrenko throws a chopping leg kick but Valente manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Valente slips under a jab.
Good exchange - Petrenko coming out on top.
Petrenko throws a lazy head kick
and Valente counters with a straight right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Petrenko throws a nice looking combination but Valente bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Petrenko walks straight into a right hand from Valente - that's dropped him! Valente jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Petrenko from any more punishment! Petrenko complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
