Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Fields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joa Ulfric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raphael Fields!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joa Ulfric!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Fields scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Ulfric throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Ulfric rushes Fields and presses him up against the cage.

Fields drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ulfric pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ulfric tries to clinch there but Fields circles away.

Fields tries to keep at a distance but Ulfric has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ulfric is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Fields missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ulfric pulls Fields in close to prevent any damage.
Fields with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fields could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fields postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ulfric preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Fields fails with the takedown
and Ulfric counters with a straight right hand.

Ulfric moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


It looks like Raphael Fields has been cut.
Ulfric tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fields swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ulfric or perhaps it was just good defense by Fields, which made it look bad.
Fields thinks about countering with a head kick.
Fields shoots in and drives through. Ulfric sprawls well.
Ulfric lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Ulfric is pressed up against the cage. Fields has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ulfric down to the mat. Ulfric avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Ulfric leaves Fields with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ulfric has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Ulfric throws a combination. Fields tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Ulfric works over Fields's head and body with a nice combination.
Joa Ulfric seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Ulfric tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fields manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fields shoots in for a double leg but Ulfric sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ulfric is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Fields shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ulfric as he jumps to the side.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Joa Ulfric showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ulfric will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fields shoots for a double leg takedown but Ulfric sprawls well. He's pushed Fields's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ulfric is trying to stand up here but Fields is controlling him well.

Ulfric is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fields's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fields's back!

Ulfric has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Fields's body.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ulfric gets his hands free as Fields looks to control.
Fields is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Fields trying to control the action but Ulfric just sinks the hooks in.

Ulfric is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Fields tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ulfric trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Fields tries to lock up and control but Ulfric gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ulfric controlling his opponent.
Fields flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Fields tries to hold on but Ulfric pushes him away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ulfric misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Raphael Fields has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Joa Ulfric is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Ulfric thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

I've got Ulfric winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
