Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Tyga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Opel Kadet!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kadet moves into the clinch successfully.
Tyga has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kadet after a bit of a struggle.

Kadet successfully pulls guard.
Tyga wants to pass the guard but Kadet is keeping the position.
Kadet has Tyga pulled in close to control his posture.
Kadet can't keep his opponent in guard - Tyga advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kadet is looking to improve his position.
Kadet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tyga seems to be looking for submissions.
Kadet is trying to stand back up but Tyga is controlling him
Kadet is holding on to half guard well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kadet can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tyga moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kadet has worked his arm free - good work by Kadet!
Kadet isn't going anywhere.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Tyga tries to bench press Kadet off him but Kadet keeps the position.
Kadet should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Tyga is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Tyga is trying to get back to full guard.
Tyga regains full guard. Nicely done.

Kadet is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyga looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Kadet changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tyga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tyga tries to improve position but can't.

Tyga manages to get back to half guard.
Kadet controlling the action here.

Tyga is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kadet pulls his head out easily.
Tyga slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kadet won't allow Tyga to sweep him here.
Kadet must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kadet landing some decent shots from guard.
Tyga is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Kadet closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kadet breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Opel Kadet dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Chris Tyga is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kadet moves into the clinch successfully.

Kadet decides to pull guard.

Kadet is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kadet tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tyga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kadet swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tyga advances position into side control!

Tyga tries for a kimura but Kadet is defending well.

Tyga thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kadet wants to control but Tyga postures up.
Tyga tries to stand but Kadet is controlling his head.

Tyga is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Kadet is trying to escape and Tyga transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Kadet is forced to tap! Nice work there by Tyga! Very nice indeed!
