The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slovsky gets caught flat footed, as Cameron shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slovsky wants to sweep but no luck.
Slovsky is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Slovsky wants to sweep here but Cameron controlling him for the moment.
Cameron throws a big elbow that misses.

Cameron gets to his feet - Slovsky follows without any prompting.

Cameron clinches with his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Slovsky has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cameron after a bit of a struggle.

Slovsky tries to buck Cameron off but Cameron is having none of it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Cameron stuffs the takedown.
Cameron drops down looking for a counter takedown but Slovsky sprawls and moves away.
Cameron throws a nice outside leg kick.
Slovsky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cameron sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Slovsky somewhat.

Cameron closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Slovsky to the mat! Slovsky manages to get full guard.
Slovsky manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cameron manages to get himself to full guard.

Slovsky wants to get up but he can't break Cameron's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Cameron lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Slovsky not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Slovsky is on top in guard.
Cameron is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slovsky is controlling him.

Cameron throws a head kick but Slovsky moves out of range.
Cameron wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Cameron pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slovsky tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Cameron shoots in and gets a takedown into Slovsky's guard.

Slovsky isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Cameron stacks Slovsky on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Cameron!
Slovsky manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cameron's best efforts.
Cameron really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Slovsky is looking to cinch up a triangle. Cameron throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Slovsky's body to avoid the submission. Slovsky has instead reached around Cameron's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Slovsky arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
