Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 17 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marc Lewis Dillinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tetsuya Tate!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillinger tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tate defends well and Dillinger ends up having to push Tate into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Dillinger looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dillinger decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Dillinger seems content to control.
Dillinger has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Tate has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
