Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Assassin Sokoudjou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janus Jupiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Assassin Sokoudjou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Janus Jupiter!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokoudjou throws a right hand that Jupiter ducks under and follows up with a left that Jupiter also avoids with ease.
Jupiter is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
A head kick misses from Sokoudjou.
Jupiter lands with an uppercut that bounces Sokoudjou off the cage and back into range.
Jupiter throws out a loose jab but Sokoudjou uses good head movement to avoid it.
A slapping body kick lands there for Sokoudjou.
Jupiter takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jupiter lands a jab to the nose.
Jupiter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jupiter throws a body punch but Sokoudjou moves out of range.
Jupiter is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sokoudjou.
Jupiter throws a shot from downtown. Sokoudjou moves away and avoids it.
A punch combination from Sokoudjou misses.
Sokoudjou lets loose with a powerful body kick. Jupiter will feel that in the morning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jupiter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jupiter blocks a head kick by Sokoudjou.
Sokoudjou throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sokoudjou stuffs the takedown.
Jupiter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sokoudjou counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Sokoudjou moves away from the strike by Jupiter.
Jupiter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Sokoudjou misses with a double jab.

Assassin Sokoudjou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janus Jupiter.
Sokoudjou throws a head kick that misses
and Jupiter counters with a shoot takedown. Sokoudjou fights it but they end up in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jupiter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sokoudjou swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sokoudjou wants to stand but Jupiter is controlling the position.
Sokoudjou wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Jupiter manages to pass to side control.
Jupiter slips a nice elbow through Sokoudjou's hands, connecting with Sokoudjou's forehead.
It looks like Assassin Sokoudjou has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jupiter lands strikes from half guard.
Jupiter is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Jupiter stops Sokoudjou from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jupiter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Assassin Sokoudjou's cut is getting worse.
Jupiter lands strikes from half guard.
Assassin Sokoudjou's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Assassin Sokoudjou's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Janus Jupiter!
