Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Polo DaDon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jax Marciano has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jax Marciano!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano shoots for a takedown but DaDon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Marciano swings for the body but DaDon moves out of range.
DaDon digs a good body shot into Marciano's ribs.
A combination from DaDon does no damage.
Marciano needs to keep his hands up - DaDon had a free shot at his head there.
DaDon misses with a two punch combination.
DaDon is looking to clinch.
Marciano lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Marciano will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

DaDon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marciano goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
DaDon is looking to clinch but Marciano is avoiding it.

Marciano drops to a knee looking for a takedown but DaDon gets the underhooks and prevents it.
DaDon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

DaDon wants to stand but Marciano is controlling his posture from full guard.
DaDon wants to stand and escape but instead Marciano has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Marciano seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Marciano is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
DaDon is looking to stand up but Marciano isn't so interested in that idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Marciano throws a big right hand that misses.

Marciano looking to sit in guard and control but DaDon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

DaDon stands and steps away. Marciano gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
DaDon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Marciano moves into range and clinches up with DaDon.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Marciano tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but DaDon was well out of range. Poor timing from Marciano.

DaDon goes for a takedown attempt but Marciano pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Marciano tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Marciano fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but DaDon avoids it really well and circles away.

DaDon looks to land a combination but Marciano avoids it well.

Marciano is pushing DaDon up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Marciano clinches up against the cage.
DaDon fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Marciano using the Thai plumb to throw knees but DaDon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Marciano gets control of DaDon's arms and successfully pulls guard. Marciano will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Marciano working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. DaDon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. DaDon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
DaDon wants to stand but Marciano has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Marciano has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Marciano closes the distance and clinches up with DaDon, looking for a takedown. Marciano pushes DaDon against the cage but DaDon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Marciano throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DaDon's waist but DaDon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marciano off to one side.

DaDon is pressed up against the cage. Marciano has hold of a leg and is looking to drag DaDon down to the mat. DaDon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Marciano should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Marciano has DaDon pressed against the cage, preventing DaDon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
DaDon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Marciano has him pressed against the cage.

Marciano escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
DaDon tries to bum rush Marciano with a series of wild strikes but Marciano uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

DaDon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Marciano moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Marciano has dropped down and is working for a takedown. DaDon is trying to keep an underhook but Marciano manages to get the takedown into half guard.

DaDon has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Marciano is on him like a limpet, forcing DaDon back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jax Marciano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

DaDon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Marciano avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Marciano jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as DaDon walks away with a smile on his face. Marciano gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Polo DaDon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight stays on the outside here - Marciano looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
DaDon shoots in and drives through. Marciano sprawls well.

Marciano ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Marciano no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Marciano has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but DaDon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
