The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Street connects with a leg kick. Gordon looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gordon swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Street counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Gordon kicks off Street and gets to his feet.
Gordon thuds a left hand into Street's body.
Gordon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gordon misses with a low kick.
A good leg kick by Street.
Street on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A big right from Gordon misses.
Street slips a jab from Gordon.
Nice sprawl there from Gordon as Street shoots in.
Gordon lands with a kick to the temple. Street shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Gordon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Street throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gordon throws a sloppy head kick and Street moves out of range easily.
Darby Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Street shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gordon as he jumps to the side.
Gordon throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
A left and a right from Gordon both land. Nice combination.
Gordon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Street.
Gordon checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Gordon lands a leg kick that knocks Street off balance momentarily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Street.
Darby Gordon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Street.
Street ducks under a wild hook from Gordon.

Gordon moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Street goes down! Can Gordon finish him!?

Gordon gets to his feet - Street follows without any prompting.
Street is still on wobbly legs! Can Gordon finish him?
Gordon throws a powerful right kick. Street tried to block low but the kick was high! Street was taken right off of his feet! Gordon jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
