Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fredric Brannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ganbaatar Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bad Seed - Watch It Burn kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan misses the body punch
and Brannon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Khan throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Khan misses with a head kick.
Khan misses with a body kick.
Khan misses with an attempted mid kick.
A little feinted left hand from Brannon on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Brannon moves out of range as Khan throws a body kick.
Khan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Fredric Brannon has been cut.

Khan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ganbaatar Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brannon steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Khan. That one must have hurt.

Brannon has Khan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Khan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Khan throws a big counter head kick but Brannon avoids it with no problem.

Brannon doesn't manage to clinch there - Khan circles away.
Khan lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

and Brannon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Brannon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Brannon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Brannon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brannon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

and Brannon counters with a one-two to the body.

Khan throws a push kick but Brannon slaps the foot to one side.
Brannon seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Khan.

Khan swats away the attempt to clinch by Brannon.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brannon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Khan, pushing him back against the cage.
Brannon is looking for a takedown.

Brannon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Khan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Brannon makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Khan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Brannon has closed the distance and engaged Khan in a clinch.
Brannon is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Khan has Brannon pressed against the cage, preventing Brannon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Brannon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Khan.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Khan lands a big head kick that sends Brannon tumbling to the mat! Khan takes a step backwards and waves Brannon back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fredric Brannon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Khan backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Brannon's temple! It sends Brannon violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Khan celebrates and the doctors try to help Brannon!
