The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Magurt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Austin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Magurt finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Dirt Magurt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magurt throws a sloppy head kick and Austin moves out of range easily.

Austin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Magurt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Magurt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Austin for as long as he can get away with.
Magurt's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Magurt has control of Austin's left arm, preventing Austin from doing any damage.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Austin shoots in and drives through. Magurt sprawls well.
Austin looks gassed!
Magurt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Austin.
Magurt cracks Austin with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Magurt has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Austin to stand back up!

Austin is rocked!

It looks like Jonas Austin has been cut.
Magurt moves in close and cracks Austin with a massive right hand! Austin, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Magurt!
