Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamison Byrd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandro Mabel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mabel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Byrd moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Byrd tries to counter with a takedown but Mabel is quick to defend against it.
Nice cross by Mabel.
Sloppy strikes from Mabel. Those never looked like landing.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mabel!
Byrd dodges the punch combination from Mabel.
Mabel connects with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mabel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Byrd feinted with a counter takedown.
Mabel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mabel throws a nice looking combination but Byrd bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Byrd changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Byrd misses with a looping left.

Byrd darts in and clinches Mabel up against the cage.

Byrd breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice uppercut lands for Mabel. That snapped Byrd's head back.
Mabel throws a series of punches but Byrd moves out of range.
Mabel cracks Byrd with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Byrd moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mabel misses with a few strikes there.

Mabel gets tackled into the cage by Byrd. Byrd maintains the clinch.
Mabel swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Byrd breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Byrd walks into a straight right hand from Mabel.
Byrd walks into a left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mabel connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Byrd momentarily.
Mabel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Byrd slips under a jab from Mabel.
Mabel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mabel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mabel looks winded!
Nice uppercut lands for Mabel. That snapped Byrd's head back.

Mabel throws an off balance right hand

and Byrd counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mabel is trying to escape back to his feet but Byrd uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mabel tries to control but Byrd manages to take his back.

Byrd is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Mabel with him. Mabel is trying to defend but Byrd has an arm under the chin now! Mabel grimaces and is forced to tap out!
