Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gomes scores with a sloppy right hand. Young should have avoided that one.
Gomes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Young shoots in but Gomes avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Young looks to score with a jab to the body but Gomes is just out of range.
Gomes tried to counter with a leg kick but Young avoided it.
Young drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Gomes sneaks out the side door and pushes Young away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
